Do you want a cabinet sewing machine? I’m giving away an electrified new home Machine, plus a box full of bizarre attachments (really, they look like something out of Dead Ringers, a motion picture I wish I could un-watch).

Catch? What catch? fine — here’s the catch. You have to be able to pick it up, IN CHICAGO, *this weekend*. Sunday, to be specific. We’re moving and we gotta get this out the door.

I have no idea whether it works, but I can give you the address of a terrific sewing-machine tuneup and repair person who is about ten blocks away.

Here are a few a lot more pics:

Email me if you’d like to set up a time to come pick it up on Sunday. (It would probably fit in the back seat of a reasonably-sized sedan, without too much trouble.)

Johnny Cupcakes sale
Johnny Cupcakes is not the one to keep t-shirts for too long in his shop. Maybe, also,  the fact that nearly everything is available for a limited time, makes them so popular. He does create takes on popular culture characters, and the license on that could be a reason. Either way, I like his technique because his designs are well thought out, not just gratuitous mashups.
He’s careful with his customers all the time, so a special Black Friday launch and discount were to be expected. This year, he released new t-shirts for adults and kids. There are also new hats and windbreakers with sprinkle patterns. That’s a total of 20 items, plus everything else at 30% off with the code SNACKFRIDAY. Black Friday sale expires Tuesday, November the 28th.

delighted new Year! I spent all my blogging hiatus/holidays (well, it felt like all my blogging hiatus/holidays) cleaning up my office/sewing room, as well as in the process I discovered this:

It’s a pattern for this hat:

Pretty cool, huh? I have absolutely NO concept where it came from, however it pertained to light as I shoveled with piles of paper. So I ran it down to Fedex as well as their great large-bed scanners as well as got it digitized for y’all. Here’s a PDF to download.

If you make it, send me a picture! Veil optional. (Extra points if you make in gold lame for that trendy nimbus effect.)

flexible date night Attire

Here, I’m using a sweatshirt gown that I truly believe you’re going to appreciate. It’s ribbed knit building makes it simple and easy to wear as well as extremely cozy, however the brilliant of Ganni is that they’ve cut the gown to provide it an elevated look anyway. It’s the perfect date night LBD as well as it’s on such sale best now. The square neck as well as sleeve length do the heavy lifting as well as meanwhile, I don’t dislike that it’s very comfortable, knowwhatimean?
We snapped these pictures before a bit date night at house after the infant was put to sleep last night as well as this gown was the ideal option.  It felt like an actual date night gown while still being supremely comfortable.

STUART WEITZMANGabby metallic leather Ballet Flats

Here’s exactly how you make it versatile:

Top the gown with a long cardigan such as this beauty by L’Agence, as well as you’ve made the gown workday suitable for both WFH as well as post-Covid work life, too. I absolutely like the button detail as well as the striped border which truly lifts the general look to ensure that it doesn’t come across as loungewear.

Naturally, I can’t operate many days without a headband, so I’ve topped this look off with a Lele Sadoughi synthetic leather knot headband in gold. Colette utilized to provide me side-eye about my headband collection but that alllllll altered when she realized she’d have to split it with her infant sister. Who’s hoarding accessories now, kiddo??

Shop this look plus so much much more currently as much as 70% off at Saks!
