I got a few questions about this when it first came into popularity a year or so ago — I believe Kate Middleton wore something similar — and am intrigued. I’m not a substantial fan of the double-breasted look for most things, personally, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a professional or work-appropriate look — and as I’ve mentioned before, I am seeing more and more double-breasted looks this season in suits (and the boxy-vest-as-blazer trend, which I am also not a fan of), so it’s certainly trendy.
